Non-fungible tokens, better known as NFTs, have become a huge market in the past several years. At Hivello, we’ve seen how NFTs can not only be used as digital art, but to also incentivize users and provide rewards. That’s why we are creating our own NFT reward system to offer exciting benefits to our users.

Let’s learn more about NFTs and how we’re implementing an exciting NFT rewards program into the Hivello protocol.

What are NFTs, and why do they matter?

NFTs are one-of-a-kind, unique digital tokens that have a variety of use cases. Consider a piece of art. While an original Picasso painting can be reprinted on a poster, there is only one, verifiable original of the painting. The same is true for NFTs.

In fact, digital art was one of the first use cases for NFTs. However, there is now a wide range of uses for this technology, including:

  • Gaming: Unique in-game assets that players can trade and sell.

  • Music rights: Musicians can sell rights to their songs and ensure royalty payments.

  • Event tickets: Enables an open resale market and security for all purchases.

  • Supply chain: Immutable records for tracking goods across global trade.

  • Digital identity: Manage and verify identity records.

Whether you see the value in NFTs or not, there’s no denying that the NFTs are rapidly growing in popularity. The NFT market was an estimated $26.9 billion in 2023, and is expected to have a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 34.5% until 2030.

In short, NFTs are digital assets that are unique, cannot be reproduced, and can be used for a variety of rewards and applications.

The Hivello NFT collection

At HIvello, we’re allowing anyone to turn their computing device into a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) miner. This helps utilize otherwise idle computing resources like hard drive space, computing power, and internet bandwidth. However, we see the Hivello community as more than just a network of computing resources.

Hivello’s Hive free NFT Collection is a community-driven initiative to foster engagement, loyalty, and growth. Best of all, it's free.

Using a tiered system, Hivello users can earn rewards based on their usage of Hivello and supporting DePIN networks. By partnering with DeFi platforms, web3 games, dApps, and cryptocurrency exchanges, we can help users generate even more unique rewards for our users.

Depending on your tier, rewards may include:

  • Hivello reduction fees

  • Exclusive airdrops of high-value NFTs

  • Early access to new DePIN projects

  • Invitations to high-profile events

  • Whitelist spots on upcoming NFT launches

How to earn NFTs

Hivello NFTs can be earned by participating in mining crypto on Hivello networks like Mysterium, Livepeer, Storj, and others. When the NFT program is live, you’ll see quests in your Hivello account that notify you when you are working toward a specific NFT, and the rewards being offered. Once you complete a quest, you will be airdropped an NFT for that milestone and receive your rewards.

NFTs can be earned by not only participating in Hivello, but also by interacting with our social media channels and community pages and inviting others to join our network. Plus, by staking your Hivello NFTs, you can unlock even more exclusive benefits.
